Frank DioGuardia, a New Jersey college professor always feared the onset of autumn.

A chill in the air and rainy skies took him back to the day his father died decades ago. It was
a memory that each year caused Frank to start counting the days until he reached the milestone
of having spent more time on earth than his dad.

This year would be no different, bringing about the realization that after thirty years of marriage
and three children he had been inhabiting the earth for all the wrong reasons.

This realization came to Frank after he committed a violent act on a stranger during New York’s
Columbus Day parade. It also brought into his life Dr. Laurie McDevitt, the emergency room physician

Vincent Panettiere was not born in a trunk at the Princess Theatre in Pocatello, Idaho, but in Brooklyn, NY.
He graduated from St. John’s University and went to graduate school at Boston University. After college he became a sports writer for the wire service United Press International (UPI) and later wrote for the Boston Herald, a major daily newspaper in that city before Rupert Murdochized it.
After holding executive positions at Westinghouse Broadcasting, CBS and Xerox he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a screen writer. One script was optioned by Twentieth Century Fox but not produced. Three other projects were optioned by now defunct production companies and also not produced.
He became a licensed and bonded literary agent representing writers and directors in television and films. He made deals for writers and directors on TV series (Xena, The Untouchables, Babylon 5 etc.); two independent features were produced; numerous indie/MOW film scripts were sold as well. He also had a client’s book published and another client’s play produced.
During the same time, Panettiere was certified by the Major League Baseball Players Association to serve as an agent for major league and professional baseball players. Clients he represented played in the major leagues for the Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals.
Objecting to the standard means of financing independent films, Panettiere sought non-traditional funding for his writer/director clients. His journey through the murky world of cyberspace was chronicled in his book The Internet Financing Illusion published in 2007. Panettiere has published five novels in both paperback and ebook format. They are: A Woman to Blame, These Thy Gifts, The Scopas Factor, The Music of Women and Shared Sorrows.

ADHD medication is a synthetic (man-made) stimulant in the same drug category as methamphetamine (“meth”). Just because a doctor prescribes it does not make it safer or better. We believe that ADHD medications should be a last resort when all other non-drug treatments failed, just like other chronic diseases, like diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol.

My daughter, Corri, would have to come to my rescue several nights a week for almost nine months straight and take me to her house because I was so frightened. I finally mustered up the strength to suffer through them. I still have them anywhere from several times a week to a month. Every time it is a hideous demon, alien or ghost and they are always trying to kill me. I explain my hallucinations in vivid detail because that is exactly how they feel. My life is like being in a horror movie that will never end. I hoped that my story would help other people who suffer from this to realize that they are not alone. Sarah is a British novelist and has lived in the beautiful town of Malmesbury since 1985. She came to Wiltshire, like so many others, because her husband was in the Royal Air Force. She spends hours walking through the surrounding fields with her black labrador, Mabel and as she walks, she thinks about her next writing project.

Born and raised in Muncie, IN, Craig is about as typical middle-America as they come. He was young when his parents divorced and his grandmother came to live with him, his mother, and two sisters. Seeing his grandmother’s faith in God on a regular basis led him to accept and know everything is okay, God’s in charge.
Craig served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and followed this as a DoD contractor where he had multiple tours overseas and around the U.S. While there were events in his life that tested his faith in God, nothing compared to when his first son was born with major medical issues. As a twenty-one-year-old father with a young devastated wife, his faith had never been tested more. After enduring several surgeries, some considered experimental, his son passed away at six months and two weeks. But even in his brief life, he had a tremendous impact on Craig and others.
Since then, God has blessed Craig with two more sons and has been a constant guidance in his life. Craig’s time in the military and as a contractor afterward included over 20 years overseas, where he was part of local mission churches. On their last return to the states, God led him and his wife to Oklahoma, where he teaches Bible studies and serves as a Deacon in a local church.
The memory of what God did to help him through his parent’s divorce, his son’s illness and death, and many other events in his life, has always led him to want to share what impact God had and has with him. That desire led to this book, and the story of someone who has suffered multiple tragedies and reaches the point of thinking they have reached the ending and have no life, only an existence. But then finds someone who also has suffered tragedies, yet moves forward, encouraged and strengthened by their faith in God. How their sharing this faith leads this person to envision a beginning rather than an ending.

About the Author

Dr. Thomas Davison has been teaching college coursework inside two State Prisons in Ohio for the past five years. He has been deeply moved by his personal observations and interactions with his incarcerated students. In 2019 this motivated him to create poems and short stories about their day-to-day lives and experiences.

Dr. Davison has been published in dozens of literary magazines and journals, including Twisted Vine Literary Arts Journal, Author’s Publish, Shanti Arts Literary Magazine, Innsaei International Journal of Creative Literature, Third Estate Arts Quarterly, and True Chili Western Magazine (Underwood Press).

Thomas’ short stories have been published in many anthologies, including 42 Stories Anthology, Indiana Horror Review 2020 Anthology- Book, Marketplace Journal, Forbidden Verses Anthology, Poetica #2, The Inner Circle Writers’ Group Poetry Anthology 2020, and Sincerely Magazine 2019 Art Anthology.

Later this year, in 2022, he will have two books and a serial published.

A chapbook of his poetry called Different Prisons. A fiction novella entitled, The Boy With Strange Eyes. Finally, he has a five-part serial entitled Eternal Prisoners.

His winning Petrarchan (Italian) sonnet was selected by the American Jewish Historical Society to be posted in the Emma Lazarus Museum. Dr. Davison has recently started a not-for-profit Entrepreneur Services for Felons (ESF). He has dedicated 100% of his writing profits to providing free one-on-one support services for felons and ex-felons. Thomas has created two Writing Clubs within the prisons. These incarcerated students are his beta readers to ensure he speaks in their voice and keeps it honest.
