Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Mark Robijn (also Robyn) lives in Tacoma Washington where he loves to hike Mt. Rainier and enjoy the beautiful scenery. A lifelong lover of adventure stories and science fiction, he grew up reading Jack London, Robert Louis Stevenson, and Issac Asimov. In addition to his children’s picture book Moogy and the Peach Tree Dragon, he has written a series of young adult science fiction books called Johnny Apocalypse and the Nuclear Wasteland, available on Amazon. He has also written a romantic thriller e-book called Dead by Midnight, available on most e-book platforms.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
Jack London, The Call of the Wild

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Write what you love.

A.L. Hooke

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I grew up in Berks County, Pennsylvania (about an hour outside of Philadelphia). Living so close to the Poconos, I grew up with a deep love of the outdoors, which turned into an unquenchable wanderlust as I got older. I went to Pitt (H2P!) and lived in Pittsburgh for several years before escaping the gloom for the sunny south.

I now live in Raleigh, NC, with my very tolerant husband. By day I’m the COO of a small digital marketing agency downtown where I focus primarily on content marketing and consulting but still spend every spare moment I can outside. When Chris and I aren’t traveling, hiking, paddling, or otherwise exploring, I’m writing (or reading). I’ve been a content marketing specialist and freelance writer for years, but only recently completed my first fiction novel – Daughter of the Antediluvial World: An Atlantis Origin Story (available on Amazon now!)

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My debut action-adventure sci-fi novel is titled Daughter of the Antediluvian World: An Atlantis Origin Story.

The concept for the book originally came to me in college. I was taking an Introduction to Mythology course as part of a communications minor, and it reignited a long-time love I had for Greek Mythology growing up. So, this story started brewing and – of course – changed quite a bit over time. (Spoiler Alert: There are no Greek gods in DOAW.)

As I started writing I just couldn’t seem to get the fantasy aspects of the story to jive with what I knew about the world – I tend to be a very logical thinker – so magic became science. (Because really, aren’t they the same thing?) The concept of an action-adventure story really developed as I got a bit older and started doing more traveling. I’ve mentioned that U have a severe case of Wanderlust – I want to see the world. The places in the book are a few at the top of my list, so getting to research them and visit them through the process of writing the story was thrilling.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I’m definitely a “plotter.” My first step in every writing project is to start with research and then to develop a detailed outline. I think outlining this story actually took longer than writing the rough draft, but writing to outline allows me to stop thinking about plot and focus on really getting into the story as I work through building out worlds and characters.

I also learned early in the writing process that repeating the same activities before I sat down to write put me in “writing mode.” I started writing the book in the evenings over the winter, (eventually, I became a dedicated morning writer) so before I sat down to write I would always change into comfortable clothes and make myself a cup of blueberry tea with honey. One day I did that and didn’t plan to sit down to write, but found that my brain immediately went into writing mode. So that kind of became my process.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
Oh, this question is always tricky. I’m a bit of an agnostic reader; I’ll dig into any from hard science fiction and technothrillers to fantasy, thrillers, and mysteries. Daughter of the Antediluvian World is a bit of a nod to my unwillingness to commit to one genre – it’s primarily an action-adventure sci-fi story, but there are elements of mystery, mythology, and yes, even a little romance weaved through.

Some of my favorite writers, who have inspired me over the years to pursue my love of fiction, all seem to live in this “in-between space” with me. Michael Crichton, A.G. Riddle, Dan Brown, and James Rollins are likely all partially responsible for my writing style. Still, I also love a good laugh with Christopher Moore, a little darkness and intrigue from Neil Gaiman, and stories to quench my wanderlust by travel writer J. Maartin Troost.

What are you working on now?
Daughter of the Antediluvian World just hit shelves in September 2021, so right now I’m in marketing mode to get the word out. During my launch I was humbled to receive a number of requests for a sequel – which I wasn’t originally planning to write – so I’m already working out a few new storylines and hope to revisit the lost city of Atlantis very soon!

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I’m still early in the process – so I’ll have to get back to you on this one! I’ve received incredible feedback on my social media pages (@alhookebooks on Facebook and Insta!) so I’m planning to test a few social ads as well as AMS ads and – of course – promo sites like the incredible Awesome Gang!

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Stick with it and own your process. There are so many “gurus” and courses out there that all claim to have the best process for writing and self-publishing a book and most of them are peddling programs to get you published in a ridiculously short amount of time. I joined one of them and initially, I really felt the pressure to get my book out in three months or less. I had so many people telling me that “done is better than perfect.”

All the pressure was taking the joy out of the project so eventually, I just tuned it all out. I poured my heart and soul into my first novel, and I eventually took control of the process and did it my way. The people behind the course I had paid very good money for abandoned me and I ultimately ended up figuring out the entire publishing process on my own. Did it take me more than a year to finish? Yes. But am I thrilled with the results and proud of myself for doing it my way? Absolutely yes.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Win the day by 9 a.m.! Before I established a set schedule for writing my progress was very slow. Once I started prioritizing writing and accomplishing what was most important to me in the day before my work started, my progress just exploded. I am by no means one of those people who exist on 4 hours of sleep and start work by 5 a.m., people, but learning to prioritize and developing a writing habit is absolutely what allowed me to finish writing this book.

What are you reading now?
Marketing DOAW is the priority right now so my TBR list is suffering a bit, but of course, I always find at least a little time to get lost in a good book! Right now I’m reading Departure by A.G. Riddle. No spoilers!

What’s next for you as a writer?
I originally planned for DOAW to be a standalone novel, a passion project that I had to try. But now that I’ve taken my first step into the world of fiction I’m absolutely hooked, and my next story (or two) is already starting to swirl around in my mind. It won’t be long before you see my name on bookshelves again! In addition to daydreaming about new adventures and marketing Daughter of the Antediluvian World, I am currently working on an online course to help others learn how to write persuasively for their businesses – How To Write Like a Copywriter.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Well, this is an impossible question. I know for sure I would take my proof copy of Daughter of the Antediluvian World so I had it to use to start drafting book number two!

Aaron Hodges

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Well the first thing you should know about me is that my name is Aaron Hodges and I’m a fantasy and science fiction author from New Zealand. I’ve been writing fulltime since 2015, and averaging three books a year I’ve now published I think 18 novels? I’m starting to lose count to be honest!

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book will be hitting shelves on the 26th October and is titled Untamed Isles: The Path Awakens. There’s a bit of an interesting story with this one, in that the concept for the book actually comes from a video game a friend of mine is developing. It features a group of explorers as they arrive at a mysterious new island and discover a world of crystal-including beasts and monsters that hunt them each night.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I don’t know if it’s unusual, but I cannot write without my music and my coffee! I usually take my laptop to a coffee shop, put in my airbuds, and work like that.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
I think David Eddings and Phillip Pullman were some of my earliest influences, especially for the grand, world ending stakes that are often involved in my stories.

What are you working on now?
I’m hoping to start working on my next book, Guardian, shortly. That will be a sequel to my novel, Defiant, which is a science fiction series based on the planet Talamh, and features a world where the human race has been conquered by an alien species.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I’ve found the best results have usually come from using Amazon Ads

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Finish your first book, your first draft, and worry about the editing later! Otherwise you tend to get bogged down in editing and never finish.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Just because something is hard, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it!

What are you reading now?
The Name of the Wind. I’ve only just started it though, so its too early just yet to give a verdict personally!

What’s next for you as a writer?
Keep writing books I love hopefully!

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
I’d probably take the four books of the view from the mirror series by Ian Irvine. I love the characters and the world so I think it would keep me busy. They’re also ENORMOUS

J.T. Moon

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Well, I’ve lived in Missouri most of my life, but I was born in Minnesota and still feel an affinity to it. I enjoy entertainment and arts of all sorts, but have a special liking for music, movies, and sports. I’m a born-again Christian, happily having found my Lord and Savior. I hate politics as a whole, but lean Libertarian in a lot of things.

I’ve written a lot of stories in my life, but I’ve published two novels: They and The Dawning. They is about a man who discovers an amazing story and simply has to write it. The Dawning is about a boy growing up in a post-apocalyptic country and discovering what his life is meant to be.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My books were published simultaneously, but I’ll discus They here. They was a book that spent almost seven years in my head before the first word was even written. I would think about high-drama scenes, character traits, and what message I wanted the book to have, and I slowly pieced it together. It only took me four months to write once I started actually writing, though. The main character They is everything I would like to be while being very little of what I actually am.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I like to have conversations with my muse, sometimes out loud. Quite awkward when someone else is in the vicinity.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
I’ve always had a special love of classics. Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, and C.S. Lewis are my favorites, with J.R.R. Tolkien and Stephen King also influencing me. Though I don’t write horror (and don’t care much for reading it anymore), I love how King can be so wordy, yet very few words are wasted. 1984 and Gulliver’s Travels both had an impact on me as well.

What are you working on now?
A sequel to The Dawning is in the works, as are two supplemental pieces to They. I’m also writing a story about an expansion baseball team that sets an MLB record for losses in a season, and a series of memoirs written from the point of view of a park bench,

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I’m admittedly a terrible promoter. I need all the help I can get.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Be honest about your abilities, and get feedback from people who you can trust to be honest in their feedback. A gaggle of yes men never helped anyone.

Also, write with subtlety. Don’t tell me who a character is; show me who they are.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
If you’re good at what you do, and you enjoy it, nothing else matters.

What are you reading now?
The last thing I read was Where the Crawdads Sing. My new life as an independent author has left me little reading time.

What’s next for you as a writer?
The next book I finish will probably be the baseball one, though all of them have been started. I’ll go where my muse leads, though, as always.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The Bible, The Chronicles of Narnia, and The Count of Monte Cristo.

Hilary Wheater

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a ‘pedigree’ Scot, both my father and my mother are Scottish, but I was born in India, brought up in Scotland, went to school in Edinburgh then I went to visit my sister in East Africa, stayed there for 7 years and was married in that time. We then came back to Scotland when Idi Amin took over Uganda and bought a small hill farm amongst the mountains. We brought up our children there and after 20 years emigrated to Australia. My heart, however, is in the mountains and in the heat and flatness of West Australia I yearned for a cool breeze on a mountain top with the hills rolling into the distance before me. When farming in Scotland I wrote a regular weekly column ‘Diary of a Farmer’s Wife’ for the Scottish Farming Paper and also wrote three historical Guide Books of the area. These books followed a route in a car or on bicycles with stories of the places that are passed on the way. The books have been in circulation when I am able to get back to Scotland and distribute them to local outlets. I came back to Scotland for three weeks in February 2020 and after two weeks we went into lockdown and I was stranded. I decided to use the time writing another historical guide book and to put that and all the other three onto Amazon so that they could sell while I was in Australia with my children and grandchildren. So this is the first one to hit Amazon after wanting to do this for so long it is a great thrill. Three more to come and then, hopefully, audiobooks for ease when travelling and listening to the tales of the places that are passed on the route.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The latest book is ‘Pitlochry and the Road to the Isles’. This book finished off the three books that I wrote many years ago and ties up the stories of the area. I was inspired to write the first of the books when I learnt that the name of the farm we had bought was ‘Donafuil’. This is Gaelic for ‘field of blood’. Obviously that meant that at some stage in the past a battle had taken place on the farm. But what battle and when? A visit to a library, the discover of the battle and I was totally hooked on the history of the area. I felt everyone should know about it and someone should write a book and tell them. No-one else came forward. So I did.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Not really. When I was farming and writing the first ones I had to do my reading and research in the middle of the night because the day was taken up with farming, children, two shops, articles, broadcasting on radio…………….the middle of the night was my only free time.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
Sir Walter Scott, Charles Dickens and the classical writers. They have such a beautiful turn of phrase.

What are you working on now?
I am working on putting my historical books on Amazon now but I have written a book about my second son and want to bring him into writing parts of it when I get back, eventually, to Australia. He died when he was 17 but was resuscitated. His life following this was singular to say the least.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
If its in you and want out – let it out!!

What are you reading now?
The Glasshouse

What’s next for you as a writer?
A series of stories of our life on the farm in Scotland ‘A Diary of a Farmer’s Wife’

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The Bible. A set of Dickens, A set of Sir Walter Scott and Ian Rankin’s Rebus series.

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Good Afternoon! Well, I was born and raised in the small town of Winchester, Virginia, and obtained a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Mary Washington. I’ve worked in the Information Technology field for 8 years, primarily as a Functional Analyst in the Northern Virginia area. I was motivated to write my first children’s book, Julio the Alpaca’s Slippery Situation! by my three-year-old son Christopher’s passion for reading books to increase his knowledge of important topics like “what happened to all the dinosaurs daddy?”. My non-work-related passions include running in local marathons,10K and 5k events, potentially creating a new sport in the future, and being a husband and a father of two children. So far I’ve only written one book, but I’m currently in the process of working on my second.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The name of my first book is called Julio the Alpaca’s Slippery Situation! The inspiration behind it is that I like to touch on important themes like hand washing, trying new things, etc., and I read the manuscript to my son and he loved it! After getting rejected by literary agents in the US and abroad for an entire year, I decided to hire my own editor, illustrator, and book format guru and self-published my first book on August 8th, 2021! As the great former Heavyweight Champ Shannon Briggs used to say: “YOU gotta gas yourself up man, YOU your motivator, YOU your entourage, YOU gotta pump yourself up! Lets go Champ!-Shannon Briggs.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I like writing in a public library for some weird reason. The environment helps me focus better lol

What authors, or books have influenced you?
Reading Monster by the great Walter Dean Myers really motivated me to self-publish my first Children’s book. I’m also a fan of Eric Carle and the Suzanne Lang’s Grump Monkey series.

What are you working on now?
I’m currently working on my second book in the Julio the Alpaca series. The theme I will touch on has to do with trying new things even when your not confident, because you will never know the end result unless you try.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
If you are self-publishing through Amazon KDP, I think it’s important to add yourself to at least 10 sub- categories you have a shot at making the Amazon Best Sellers list. Then once you run your free promotion to attract new readers, reach out to family and friends to not only buy your books and optimizing sales through self-promotion on your social media sites, and doing research on the best paid/unpaid book promotion sites.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Have fun making the book, try your best to make a quality book a reader will like and will spread via word of mouth, and you don’t have to be perfect just get it done!

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“One day you will wake up & there won’t be any more time to do the things you’ve always wanted. Do it now.” -Paulo Coelho

What are you reading now?
Freemasonry: Quest for Immortality by Christopher Earnshaw

What’s next for you as a writer?
I hope to add two books to the Julio the Alpaca series by 2022. Wish me luck!

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
Monster by Walter Dean Myers
Diary of a Depressive by Marty Embry

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I hail from eastern Canada. After university I headed out west, then lived in the Arctic and later the Yukon mountains as a hermit with the bears and gophers. I’ve been a Hollywood actor, waiter at Beverly Hills hotels and the Oscars, wilderness road surveyor, advertising executive, carpenter and taxi driver. Acted in “Forrest Gump” and as an alien in “Star Trek — Deep Space Nine”. “Space Pickle” is my first published, followed very soon by “Amazon Pickle”, as soon as I get the cover done. I’m in the middle of five others. Most are comedy.
I live in the Pacific Northwest with my pet turtle, Speed Freak.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
SPACE PICKLE
It just started writing itself, dialogue started coming and characters forming. The hard work after is finishing it, then editing it. I must have written it ten times. Truthfully, I lost track. It has a screenplay version also, so with that a good fifteen times!

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write the first draft longhand, just about always sitting under a tree beside a lake, while camping. The nature vibe adds good energy, and nature energy is excellent for creating. Your mind is clear. Afterward it goes on the computer.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
Tom Wolfe, Dave Barry, J.D. Salinger, JRR Tolkien — his imagination was incredible. He opened up the whole world of fantasy for me.

What are you working on now?
The sequel to “Amazon Pickle”, and an autobiography. I’ve done some wild things.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Website, and putting funny audios on YouTube, etc.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Keep at it, despite the obstacles. If you’re truly dedicated, you will. Learn how to meditate — invaluable for a writer. Create in nature — the energy enters the work.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Try, try, try again!

What are you reading now?
Howard Stern Comes Again

What’s next for you as a writer?
To finish the number of projects I’ve started, and sell ten Zillion books.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Dave Barry’s Guide To Guys, Lord Of The Rings trilogy, Catcher In The Rye

Anne Fifield

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Anne Fifield is the creative visionary and best-selling children’s author of “The Princess Caroline’s Adventures” book series. Written for ages 7 to 12 and the young at heart, she is delighting kids worldwide. Her books are unique as she weaves in the elements of her rescued doggies, specifically basset hounds, into each of her stories and book covers.

Her first titled ‘The Princess’ Hand’ was released in August 2019, book two titled ‘Trip to Lake Ahrooo’ released in September 2020, book three followed in November 2020 with ‘The Hunt for the Jeweled Swords,’ and book four newly released in August 2021 titled ‘The Missing Knight.’ All are available on Amazon Books, Amazon Kindle, & many fine online book sites.

Anne is the youngest of three siblings and was born and raised outside Oklahoma City, OK. She met and married the love of her life, Tom, and they have been married for 24+years. Their kids are the four-legged variety who had adopted them over the years.

Anne’s career was also her passion. She was an ‘American Sign Language Interpreter’ for over 25-years and taught ASL at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. Since both were her passions, she says she felt like she never worked a day in her life. In 2006, she became heavily involved in basset rescue and co-founded another rescue in 2011.

Anne, now retired, decided to move on to her next passion, the love of writing. She and her husband have rescued and fostered basset hounds for 20-years, so as Anne shares, “it felt natural to write children’s books with bassets as the characters. Our hounds provide the comic antics and inspiration for all my books. Thus, “Princess Caroline’s Adventures Series was born.” All the characters in her books are actual rescue dogs. Their pictures are in the back of each book.

Anne and her husband enjoy retired life and reside in the ‘Great State of Texas.’

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My most recent book is: Princess Caroline’s Adventures Series – Book Four – The Missing Knight.

All my books have bassets as the characters. The characters are named after actual rescued hounds. Their pictures are in the back of the book. My knowledge of the hounds provide me inspiration. I also love mysteries. Therefore, I’ve affectionately refer to Caroline as the canine Nancy Drew.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Not really. I do my best writing late at night or in the early morning. It’s not unusual for me to stay up till 2:00 or 3:00am typing away on my laptop.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
I love mysteries and suspense. I grew up on Nancy Drew and Agatha Christie novels. I now read the Kay Scarpetta series by Patricia Cornwell, and the Alex Cross series by James Patterson.

What are you working on now?
I’m working on the fifth book in the series – The Case of Unfinished Business. It’s scheduled to be published in November 2021.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I’m all over social media. You can find me at:

www.authorannefifield.com
https://facebook.com/authorannefifield
https://instagram.com/authorannefifield

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t be afraid to start writing and continuously hone your craft.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
My dad always said, “This too shall pass.” I remember that when I experience writer’s block or other personal issues in life.

What are you reading now?
“For the Soul,” by Barbara Daniels Dena.

What’s next for you as a writer?
I plan on continuing the Caroline’s series. I may even try my hand at writing an adult mystery and suspense novel.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
All I need is the Bible.

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
This is my first published book. I’ve written two more and have material for an additional four. I’m an expert by experience in complex trauma. This means I share my lived experience of complex PTSD from childhood abuse to help others overcome it and lead more fulfilling lives. I share my experiences of therapy for complex trauma with psychotherapists as the client’s experiences of therapy are normally kept confidential.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Childhood Trauma Recovery: The Email Conversations With My Therapist That Helped Me Overcome Childhood PTSD. This book was my lockdown project – it was to keep me occupied during the pandemic. The person who inspired me to write it was my former therapist – the therapist mentioned in the book. (He’s written the foreword for it.)

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I am most productive in the morning so I start writing as soon as I wake up. I face a blank wall so there’s nothing in my line of vision and wear earplugs because I find noise really distracting. I would love to get into the rhythm of writing while walking my dog.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk

What are you working on now?
My second book. The working title is My 15 Therapists and My Reasons for Leaving Therapy With Them. I’ve had 15 therapists over 25 years for complex trauma. In this book, I share my experiences of therapy – what helped and what made my trauma worse.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I’m new to all this so ask me when I have more experience.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t expect to know what you’re doing – you’ll figure it out as you go along. If you share your vision with others, the help will come along as and when you need it. If you go into writing believing that you have to know everything before you start, you’ll never start.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
This advice from my therapist (the one mentioned in my new book): give your imagination a job to do; at the moment it’s like a bored dog destroying the house because it hasn’t been given anything to do.

What are you reading now?
Cilka’s Journey by Heather Morris.

What’s next for you as a writer?
My second and third books are on my 15 therapists – the second is aimed more at people who have experienced trauma themselves, and the third is aimed at therapists.

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am Vikram Suryawanshi. After completing my engineering I worked as a content writer for a couple of years and pursued an MA in Literature to fulfill my urge. After completing my course I have written this fiction with genuine dedication and honesty. This story is based on a social worker who wants to change the world but has to break innumerable shackles. His journey is contrasting to the paths of his friends, but they have a strong connection. The book talks about the philosophies that these friends unfold throughout their lives.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
A Man with A White Shadow is my debut book.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I don’t stick to any schedule. I write whenever I get time, but I think about the book all the time. This way, I get more ideas and enough time to criticize my own work. I do this because I don’t want to write many books, I just want to write a few masterpieces.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
Salman Rushdie has been a motivation to me. His writing style, his strong criticism of society has inspired me to write a book that talks about society and humans overall.

What are you working on now?
I have an idea on which I would like to work for the next three to four years. It will a fiction be based on laws around the world and their inefficiencies. I am also doing a three years course in Legislature to deeply understand various aspects of the subject.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I have just started promoting the book. The next time someone asks me this, perhaps I will say Awesome Gang.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t write for money. Write for Art. Take your time, as much as you can, and only when you become frustrated on working on it, consider publishing it.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Do not be Afraid. I heard this in Vikings. From that time onwards, I understand that big things need courage and we constantly need to say to ourselves- Do not be afraid.

What are you reading now?
I am starting to read Less by Andrew Sean Greer.

What’s next for you as a writer?
Through my website, www.readersmeet.com I would like to help new writers publish their books. In the meanwhile, I will continue working on my next novel. But as a writer, I feel very sad while seeing new writers taking the act of writing so casually. I think it is the responsibility of writers to bring something new to the world, but most of the writers are publishing to get rich or popular. I would like to give them a good approach.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Shame, Wuthering Heights, The Picture of Dorian Gray would be my first preferences.
