Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m a musician/writer from England. I’ve written three books and planned a few more. I also write under the name Filo Wainwright. I travel a lot, get into lots of strange situations and love to tell a tale. I’ve got a YouTube channel under the name The Amazing Mister Frazer which I use to exorcise weird ideas that would take too long to write about.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Strange Encounters of The Sexual Kind. I think the title pretty much lets you know where the inspiration came from. I’ve written this under the Filo Wainwright name.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Same place, same word count every day except Sunday. Start at the same time. Discipline is the only thing that gets a first draft written.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
Stephen King inspired me to write initially. But I love thrillers. Fred Forsyth, Robert Ludlum, that kind of thing. But I tend to write my own thing. Writing is a marathon run and you have to be yourself which, in my case, is nothing like the stuff I would read. I like the bizarre and the logically abstract.

What are you working on now?
A memoir of my bizarre time riding shotgun with a drug dealer. You really couldn’t make this one up.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I must confess, I’m useless at the marketing aspect of my books. I know it sounds bad but I have no interest in the process. It’s for people far more clued-up about these things than I am. I like to create. Marketing needs someone else’s expertise.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Find out where the agents and commissioning editors drink/eat and do the same. Make their acquaintance. One good contact opens a lot of doors. Frederick Forsyth proved that.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Don’t walk down there after 8.30pm.” I was in Hollywood at the time.

What are you reading now?
Lyrics to one of my songs.

What’s next for you as a writer?
Same as most writers….Hardship and perhaps total oblivion. Ha. Just 2000 words a day, I suppose.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The Power of The Dog, Doug Winslow. The Bourne Identity. Robert Ludlum. Anything about JS Bach. And if I had my guitar with me the Goldberg Variations.

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I like to write for the enjoyment of fantasy and brining worlds that couldn’t ever exist alive. I have written five books. One is a sci fi short and another is a lore booklet with the remaining three being full books in two years.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is named, Heritage Fate Stage I Iris. I was inspired by my desire to create fun Christian Fantasy books to write it. I spent many months creating interesting lore for my world before I begun writing my book.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write most my books on my phone. I also have many paper journals that I write all my notes and lore on before I use anything digital as well as I draw art for my books when I’m in concepts.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
I like the book Red Queen ans the Selection. They got me into reading.

What are you working on now?
I am working on a webcomic and my next book for Heritage Fate.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
My own website and amazon kdp promotions.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t consider your work bad because others have different option. Your words hold value, and your ideas are unique because you are an individual.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Don’t let the 5% control your 95.

What are you reading now?
The Bible.

What’s next for you as a writer?
I plan to continue my book series, Heritage Fate Stage I Iris.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The bible, all the books inside it.

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I write spicy romance novels with a twist fantasy. I am currently writing book four in my first series entitled “The Soulmate Call Series.” My first book started as a one and done, and before I knew it, it had grown into at least ten books.
I am a mother of four and have been married to my soulmate for over twenty years. I love writing and finally found the courage to publish my stories. I love fantasy and paranormal. Yet my favorite stories include “The Princess Bride” and “Wuthering Heights.”

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Book Four in “The Soulmate Call Series,” is titled “The Soulmate Healing.” Book Two in the series began the inspiration for this book. I knew while writing it this book would come out of it. Anymore information, and I would divulge spoilers.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
What is considered an unusual writing habit? I like to write with music or a movie in the background. If there is someone similar in appearance to the characters I am writing, I like to have a visual for inspiration.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
My biggest influence comes from Quinn Loftis, watching her live her dreams as a wife, mother, and author gave me the courage to make my dreams a reality. Plus, some of her writing inspired mine.
My most recent influence is from a new friend and fellow author, Julie Cannings. We exchange ideas and thoughts daily, as we encourage one another to pursue our passion.

What are you working on now?
I am working on Book Four in my fantasy romance series, as well as avidly promoting Book One. Once Book One takes off, the rest will follow with fans.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I primarily focus on my promotions on Facebook, Instagram, and Goodreads. I have a website, but I don’t believe it has received much traffic.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Whether you win or lose as a writer, you will never find more joy than when you put the words to paper.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
I have yet to receive any advice as a writer that I would consider the best advice. The best advice I ever received in life inspires my writing, “Love is not a feeling, it is a decision.” My grandmother always told me this, and it inspires my daily living and the end result for my characters.

What are you reading now?
I am reading more than one book right now.
“To Kill a Mocking Bird” by Harper Lee
“Body Politic” by Glyn J. Godwin
“The Total Money Makeover” by Dave Ramsey
“#GraceMade My Journey to Love, Joy & Healing” by Sade Champagne (I will finish tonight)

What’s next for you as a writer?
I am searching for someone to put music and a voice to the song in Book Two. I plan to travel to visit family members soon to interview for a novel loosely based on my late grandparents’ love story. I will continue on the path I am on, hoping to reach readers.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
My first thought was to bring my books. If my books aren’t an option, I would bring “Wuthering Heights” by Emily Bronte, “#GraceMade My Journey to Love, Joy & Healing” by Sade Champagne, “Call Me Crazy” by Quinn Loftis (because it’s her only standalone).
