May is my favorite month because it is still cool out and the hope that summer brings is right around the corner.

I am also bias because my birthday is in May. More about that celebration in the next email. Speaking of celebrations this week we have Cinco De Mayo on the 5th. It is a great Holiday as it celebrates the Mexican-American culture. After reading up on Wikipedia it seems like the Holiday is bigger in the United States than it is Mexico. I would have never guessed that, but that’s according to Wikipedia.

May 5th is also National Teachers Day. I think we can strongly agree that without teachers we would be nothing. I am sure a lot of you that have been forced to homeschool can agree that teachers work is hard. Glad we have a day to celebrate them. Remember to thank a teacher!
