I Don't Like Mondays Or Snow!

Happy Monday! (Said no one ever)

Woke up to some snow on the cars. Really good reminder of how much I hate Monday’s and snow lol

Well the New Year is here and I hope you are planning out your budget for the year. I spent time over the weekend to look at what is working and what isn’t.

What isn’t working is important because you can eliminate things and spend more time on things that are working and doing more of it. For me the traffic from Tumblr dropped almost in half. On the other side, traffic from Pinterest doubled. Easy to see where I am going to focus more of in the future.

Social media needs to be part of your author platform. I am going to be talking more and more about author platforms this year. So many authors I hear from are not building a base and that to me isn’t a good plan.

Every author needs to be collecting email addresses and working on their website and gathering social media followers that are interested in their writing.
