No Coupon From Us For Memorial Day Lets Just Remember Like It Suppose To Be

I am always torn when I see Memorial Day sales. I mean like who came up with the brilliant idea that mattresses should be discounted on a day of remembrance.
Seems like Memorial Day is more about getting a new mattress on discount than remembering the soldiers that gave their life so you can rest easy at night.

Both my dad and my grandfather were lucky enough to come home from war. My dad served in Korea and my grandfather who I was named after was a bad ass.
He was part of the Battle of the Bulge and survived and then reenlisted for Korea where he was shot and received a purple heart. He didn’t talk about it much and now I wish I knew all about his war stories.

Sunday is the Memorial Day parade here in my town. I will go up and take photos and share them on Monday on the Facebook page.

Thank a Veteran and say a prayer for those that gave us their ultimate sacrifice that allows us to do what we do. Maybe find a Veterans book on Amazon and purchase it and leave a review.

Hope you have a safe weekend and take a moment to remember those that lost their life.
