Nat Bickel

Interview With Author Nat Bickel

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Nat Bickel is an energetic storyteller who aims to move people to action with her words. She has a bachelor’s in communications, a previous contributorship with Darling Magazine, and published features in Glamour, Stylist, Shondaland, Refinery29, Parade Magazine, and more. Through her journalism experience, she’s interviewed celebrities, worked with musical artists, and reported on current trends and events. She’s the author of the children’s book, The Christmas Clue, that showcases the tale of a Christmas morning scavenger hunt. When she’s not writing, you can find her taking film photos of her dog, pressing flowers, or blazing new trails with her husband.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Christmas Clue – Christmas has always been the happiest time of year for my family with seemingly magical memories from my childhood. I know not everyone has this same admiration for the holiday season, which is why I wrote the children’s book, The Christmas Clue, in hopes to ignite feelings of joy and novelty towards this time of year. Throughout my youth, my parents curated unforgettable experiences for my brother and I through inventive Christmas traditions. My dad, in particular, is highly creative and came up with the ultimate tradition, a scavenger hunt to find our last present. This started when we were in elementary school, and the clues grew progressively difficult each year. The annual hunt commenced after we opened all the presents under the tree. My dad would then say, “Did you check in the tree?” My brother and I would search the tree branches to find envelopes with each of our names on them where the first clue lived. Once we each read ours, we would race to the separate locations they alluded to. After retrieving the next clue, we’d regroup, reading them aloud for the family before racing off again to find the subsequent one. This went on and on with one clue always outside, forcing us to get somewhat bundled up before braving the cold to retrieve it. On the rare occasion when we had white Christmases, my dad would have to quickly reprint a clue, the ink smudged from the snow. I adore my dad for staying up each Christmas Eve night and hiding our clues in secret, knowing how excited we’d be in the morning. My book is inspired by this tradition in hopes that other children will get a taste of the exhilarating, magic-filled journey we embark on each Christmas morning. As my brother and I have grown up and gotten married, our spouses have been inducted into the tradition, as well. Now, as we expand our families, I can’t wait to see our own children go along for the wild scavenger ride filled with the love and care of Christmas joy surrounded by family.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Writing has always been the way I process things, and therefore I try to take readers on a journey with me, letting them see the world from my mindsight view. I tell people I’m an energetic storyteller because I feel the energy when I write. For example, I can tell when a good story or article is brewing. It starts to pop up in my dreams, and I can visualize it before the words come to me. A half-sleep state is usually how my writing starts. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve accidentally texted with a sentence I didn’t want to forget, when I was trying to make a note for myself.

Whenever I sit down to write, I have to drink out of my favorite mug. It gets me in the headspace of “I’m about to let the stories, worlds, characters, and metaphors unleash onto a page.”

What authors, or books have influenced you?
Becca FitzPatrick (Author of Hush Hush Series, among others) has influenced my passion for YA because she’s so good at wanting you to like the bad guy. I’ve literally held my breath while reading her books, in suspense of what’s going to be on the next page.

Kristin Hannah (Author of The Nightingale, among others) influences me through the complexity of her stories. She draws you into the characters, clearly defining them so you’re never questioning who anyone is throughout the story.

What are you working on now?
I have a young adult novel I’ve been working on polishing for a few years now, a new children’s book idea that I’m working on fleshing out about inclusivity and diversity, and a short story of mine is going to be published in a Christmas Anthology this year (2022) with TouchPoint Press.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Social media is your best friend. My publisher helps promote through Ebookfairs, but utilizing your personal following is invaluable.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Constantly be writing/creating.
Even if no one reads it, write it because you only have yourself to benefit.
No one has lived your experience or is in your head, so let your unique thoughts out regularly.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“When you’re in the middle of a story you’re in the middle of possibility” – The Chair on Netflix
This isn’t direct advice, but it keeps me going when I feel like a story has fallen flat or I’m not sure what direction to go next. Just being in the middle of a story feels thrilling, and the possibilities are endless because it’s your creation.

What are you reading now?
Lately, I’ve been reading books on raising children, but I recently started another Kristin Hannah book—The Great Alone.

What’s next for you as a writer?
Short stories have been my sweet spot this year. I’ve been crafting a few in hopes to see them published via literary contests and anthologies. I also hope to get my novel published within the next year or so, but my ultimate goal is to continue to share my creativity and life experiences through story.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Because of Winn-Dixie (a classic from my childhood)
Little Women (I relate so much to Jo, I think it would motivate me to survive)
Wilderness Survival for Dummies (for obvious reasons)
A book that has to do with snow or winter to get my mind off of the heat and current environment (this could be a fictional or nonfictional book)

Interview With Author Pandu Ranga Reddy Vineeth

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am the author of the book named “CONQUER INVISIBLE ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION”. I used to suffer from the problems of Anxiety and Depression for several years with no solution. I always wanted to eliminate the feelings of the problems of Anxiety and Depression FOREVER. I tried REALLY hard to eliminate these problems but I came to the same problems of Anxiety and Depression over and over again. I managed to find some temporary solutions to these problems but not a permanent ones. Many people have this common belief very deep in themselves “Problems are common in our lives”. I also have had this belief for many years. Due to this DEEP DOMINATING belief, I am unable to eliminate these problems FOREVER. I also realized that we have so many limiting beliefs like this one. These limiting beliefs are becoming the roots of these Anxiety and Depression problems. I started to focus on the things that I REALLY WANT and made those ideas as dominating ideas. This practice eliminated my Anxiety and Depression FOREVER. In this amazing transformation, I wrote a book named “CONQUER INVISIBLE ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION” and showed everyone the simple and easy methods to CURE and PREVENT these problems FOREVER. Everyone should be EXTREMELY careful when dealing with fire. In the same manner, everyone should be EXTREMELY careful when dealing with the problems like Anxiety and Depression.
In my amazing transformation, I wrote this one single book “CONQUER INVISIBLE ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION”

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The name of my latest book is CONQUER INVISIBLE ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION. I used to suffer from these problems for 18 years inside myself. This miraculous transformation gave me confidence in such a way that I confidently say that I know more about these Anxiety and Depression problems than psychiatrists.

Elden Walseck

Interview With Author Elden Walseck

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a rocket engineer, father to four wonderful, young kids, and a life-long reader. I’ve been writing since I was young, but only recently started publishing my stories. I am the author of the Middle Grade adventure series, Wyoming Bones, which currently has 4 books in it. Book 5’s first draft is almost complete.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Wyoming Bones and the Nether Journey is the fourth book in the series, and is up for pre-order on Amazon now. I wanted to let Wyoming, Leila, and Blurble (everyone’s favorite slime) explore a completely new area and face dangerous challenges, and the Nether was the perfect setting for it.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write most of my first drafts on my phone! I get most of my writing time in at work during my lunch break, because when I’m home I’m Dad first. So, while I’m eating my leftovers, I pull out my phone and my portable keyboard and start typing away.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
I grew up reading David Eddings and his Belgariad series, Patricia C. Wrede and her Enchanted Forest Chronicles, and so many books from Grace Chetwin. My current favorite author is Brandon Sanderson.

What are you working on now?
Wyoming Bones and the Founder’s Blade is the title of my current Work In Progress story. It’s the first book set in Wyoming’s home town, and I wrote it because I wanted to let my readers find out more about Wyoming’s past.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Word of mouth so far! Friend of friends of friends are reading my books, and several have reached out to let me know they love my characters, or I’ve turned their reluctant readers into excited fans. That makes my day, every time.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
The most important thing a writer can do is WRITE. Butt in chair, hands on keyboard, just write. You can’t edit a blank page, so get words on there, and just keep writing until you get to The End.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Writing advice? Don’t compare your first draft to the finished, polished books you read. Books get better and better as you edit them.

What are you reading now?
Dreadgod, book 9 of the Cradle series by Will Wight.

What’s next for you as a writer?
I eventually want to write a more “grown up” fantasy novel- the ideas keep bouncing around in my head. Right now, however, I am focused on getting a good number of Wyoming Bones books out.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Belgariad, by David Eddings. The world building, the magic system, the characters… Maybe it was the age I first read it, but I can still go back to read the story again and again.

Dominic Anton

Interview With Author Dominic Anton

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m a songwriter, poet, and author who started writing stories when I was in elementary school. Writing had always been a necessary outlet for me to freely express myself while I was growing up since I was very shy. I published my first poetry book, Water, in 2016, and my second poetry book, INTUITION, in 2020, along with a coffee table version of it in 2021. My newest book, Nightmares & Daydreams, is my first fiction thriller novel, due out in October 2022. Writing has always been less of a hobby and more of a compulsion I have realized years later. I write to make sense of my personal thoughts and my relationship with the world around me. It’s my therapy.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My most recent book is also my very first paranormal fiction thriller. Strangely enough, there was no main inspiration for the plot. I woke up one morning with a very calm, clear mind, which is unusual because I usually wake up with a tornado of thoughts already swirling in my mind. But not that day, I was drawn to my laptop, opened up my notes, and 20 minutes later I had poured the main plot of the book out. My own personal experiences though had helped fill out some of the details of the book and it took from Summer 2020 to Summer 2022 to finish it.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Nothing too strange. I don’t write at certain times and very rarely will I ever force myself to write. So I’ve never experienced writers block. I just remain open to the creative energy within me and write when I feel inspired or an idea comes to me. I always write on my phone or on my laptop.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
F. Scott Fitzgerald is my favorite fiction writer. I’ve never read work from any other writers who have a way with words like he had, and he had a very beautifully poetic style to his writing. Tender is the Night and The Great Gatsby are my favorite’s of his. Aside from authors, singers and poets such as Florence Welch and Lana Del Rey are my biggest inspirations when it comes to writing poetry. Their sense of imagery and the emotions they can evoke with the way they write is beautiful.

What are you working on now?
After I release Nightmares & Daydreams I’m going to resume working on my next book which will be solely poetry again. I started writing it near the end of 2020 as I was simultaneously writing Nightmares & Daydreams. It’s a beautiful book that’s very personal to me and my family so I’m excited to finish it.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
My favorite method is reaching out and establishing connections with book reviewers, mostly on instagram. I love making friends with people who love reading and take time out of their day to share their favorite works with their followers and friends so I’m always appreciative when they help me promote my books on their pages.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write what you’re passionate about and learn as much as you can in every aspect of writing. If it’s poetry, study poetry from several poets. If it’s fiction, read fiction books and make note of what is profound to you as you’re reading it. Study different styles and methods, there’s so much to learn when it comes to writing and a wealth of information online. Make sure you’re patient with yourself during the process and never rush yourself so you can create something that is worth reading. Be your own toughest critic.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
This doesn’t specifically pertain to writing books but one of my favorite quotes is from Allie X who is a singer. She said “write a thousand bad songs, and KEEP GOING.” If you think something you have written is bad, that’s fine, keep writing and you’ll eventually strike gold. Even if it improving it just means changing a single word, that word could have a big impact on what you’re trying to communicate. I could rewrite a chapter or a piece of poetry dozens of times until I’m satisfied. Learn to sharpen your standards and trust your judgment.

What are you reading now?
I usually read more non fiction books so I’m currently reading “How To Do The Work” by Dr. Nicole LePera.

What’s next for you as a writer?
Continue with the next project, learn more about how I can improve my skills, and never look back.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Useless Magic by Florence Welch, Tender is the Night by Fitzgerald, INTUITION: The Extended Experience, by me, and Revolt Against the Sun, by Nazik Al’Malaikah

Julie Pham

Interview With Author Julie Pham

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am an author, speaker, researcher, and curiosity connoisseur. I’m also a dinner party enthusiast! I was born in Saigon, Vietnam and raised in Seattle, Washington. I have a PhD in history that I earned from Cambridge University as a Gates Cambrige Scholar. In my career, I’ve worked as a journalist, historian, marketer, nonprofit executive, community organizer and management consultant. In my 15+ years of leadership experience, I’ve used my original research to bring together people from all walks of life to help them build trust and work collaboratively with one another. I believe that trust and collaboration can be built between diverse individuals and communities through exercising our innate power of curiosity and through a mutual understanding of the flexibility of respect. I currently live in Seattle, Washington and head my own company CuriosityBased, to foster curiosity in the world.

I have published two books. The first book I wrote is Their War: The Perspectives of the South Vietnamese Military in the Words of Veteran-Émigrés, where I engaged in original research and interviews with 40 RVNAF veterans to recover some of the South Vietnamese military perspective of the Vietnam War for an American audience. An analysis of the interviews shows the veterans’ own explanations for the Vietnam War that complicate and sometimes even challenge the widely held assumptions about the South Vietnamese military. Their War was published in 2019.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is 7 Forms of Respect: A guide to transforming your communication and relationships at work. I was inspired to write this book by the polarizing, yet diversifying communities that we live in. Today, people often feel that there’s a “right” and “wrong” answer for what is considered respectful. This leads to a lot of miscommunication and misunderstandings between people, especially at work where we spend most of our waking hours. Through my work, I have led cross-sector collaborations between people of diverse backgrounds and observed this occurring first-hand. I don’t actually believe that there’s any single truth for “right” and “wrong” when it comes to respect. By writing this book, I hope to help others practice communication and curiosity with one another to reduce misunderstandings and build trusting relationships. This book is also based on my original research into workplace respect.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I invite a lot of people into my writing process. I write in Google docs and I have a pool of people who have agreed to be beta readers and editors. When I was writing my most recent book, I dedicated the weekends to revising. So it looks like me sending out a new draft on Sunday nights or Monday mornings to about 3 to 5 readers, asking them to send in the comments by Saturday mornings. On Saturday mornings, I would turn off my phone and read their comments and just start revising and writing these sections. Then on Mondays, it would start again. I also like to hand write my manuscript. In the past I would dictate and then type write. Nowadays I use a Remarkable 2.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
While I read a lot of nonfiction leadership and social commentary books, I love reading novels. It helps me understand different perspectives. I’m a big fan of Hanya Yanagihara, Lucy Maud Montgomery, Douglas Stuart, and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I read nonfiction books based on people’s experiences, like Stacey Abram’s Lead from the Outside: How to Build Your Future and Make Real Change. I even wrote a book review about it. You can read that here: https://curiositybased.com/stacey-abrams-leadership-manual-is-for-all-leaders/.

At my company CuriosityBased, I promote leadership books written by women, people of color, LGBTQ+, and those who have disabilities. My company even researches book lists. I believe that we can enrich how we lead by expanding who we read.

What are you working on now?
I’m busy promoting my new book, and I continue to write short social commentary essays. Right now I’m focused on helping people understand the 7 Forms of Respect framework in different mediums, such as a digital course and live workshops.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I promote my books through all mediums, including social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter), podcast guest appearances, website and newsletter posts, and public book talks.

Examples:
Book Talks – https://youtu.be/7LMzuFtgBMs
Podcasts – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=755dffMtohA

You can find more here: linktr.ee/curiositybased

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Recruit people who are willing to be beta readers and editors and create a schedule of when you need to provide them with drafts! This way, you can rely on a small group of people to read each draft and provide feedback before you revise.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Someone gave me this analogy of being a thermostat: There will always be people who say they are too hot, and then others who say they’re too cold, and we can’t go up and down with what other people want. We have to know our core temperature.

That is so important. I get a lot of feedback from others to do this or do that. Sometimes I take the feedback, sometimes I don’t. I have to see if it makes sense for me.

What are you reading now?
I just finished reading Ron Chew’s, My Unforgotten Seattle, a memoir of a third-generation Chinese-American growing up in the International District of Seattle. This is where I currently live, and it is wonderful to see and learn about this neighborhood through this community leader’s eyes.

What’s next for you as a writer?
I have plans to write a personal version of the 7 Forms of Respect, but that will be in a couple of years. My team and I have to do the research first.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
So hard!! For now, Betty Smith’s A tree grows in Brooklyn, Hanya Yanagihara’s A Little Life, Thi Bui’s The Best We Can Do, and Sanjeev Sahota’s The Year of the Runaways

Heidi Skarie

Interview With Author Heidi Skarie

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have written seven books and I’m in four anthologies. I’ve written a science fiction, space opera series that takes place in another part of the universe during an interplanetary war. I’ve also written two historical novels. One about a Native American woman and one set in the Viking era. I live with my husband and cat, Lucky. I have thee children and three young grandchildren. I’m a painter and photographer and enjoy knitting and gardening.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is Call of the Eagle. All my books have a mystical side to them. The main character is Baymond and the eagle represents his attempt to see life from a higher point of view.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
My first novel came from a series of dreams that was like watching a movie. After that the stories for the rest of the series just flowed through. I wrote drafts for all the books, but I was working and raising a family, so only finished the first one. I couldn’t find a publisher for the series, so I wrote and published two historical novels. Now that I’m retired I’m self- publishing the sci-fi series.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
I was influenced by Lord of the Rings, Mary Stewart’s King Author series, Heidi, Back of the North Wind and Gone with the Wind as a young person. As an adult I read a lot of different books in many genres. I just reread Frank Herbert’s Dune after seeing the new movie. The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss is another excellent book and I love Ann Aguirre series about Sirantha Jax.

What are you working on now?
I’m working on The Prince of Jaipar, the fifth book in the Star Rider Universe. I’ve become attached to the many characters after writing so many books about them. They come alive on a much deeper level. The war is still raging in the galaxy, but it’s more of a backdrop for the main character until his father and brother join the intergalactic air fleet and are in danger.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Building a newsletter list seems to be the best way to promote my books.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Join a critique group to get feedback on your work. Get a website and start building your email list.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Write regularly. It’s like playing the scales on the piano and practicing everyday.

What are you reading now?
A fantasy novel titled Rogue Destiny by Paul Tallman. It’s Paul’s first book in what will be a series. It takes place in a series of worlds from novels. The book has wonderful, original characters.

What’s next for you as a writer?
I have the draft of the seventh book in the series. I want to start on it as soon as I’m done with the sixth book.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Stranger by the River by Paul Twitchell
If You Want to Write by Brenda Ueland
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
A pen and paper to write my own book.

Elizabeth Upton

Interview With Author Elizabeth Upton

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I was born in Los Angeles, CA., along with my twin sister. When I was eight years old, my twin sister and I were disposed of in an orphanage for two years because my mother’s new husband did not want us. At age sixteen, I entered a contemplative social work religious order and was a nun for twenty years. I left because I grew out of it, yearning for a different spiritual life, not one within an organized religion.

I’ve been a social worker, which included doing investigations, and a probation officer.
Today, I have established my business of counseling services. After writing my first book titled “Secrets Of A Nun” is when I began my writing career.

I have written five Fiction books and five NonFiction books, all available on Amazon.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My newest book is titled “Lover’s Secrets & Revenge,” which is the last book in my “Callahan” book series. I’ve had a lot of fun writing these books for this series.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I don’t have any weird or funny writing habits. My writing style is unconventional, and often I just begin writing while constantly changing my outline until it works for me.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
Honestly, I have not been inspired by other writers or authors to become a writer, and my writing comes from my creativity, imagination, and inspiration.

What are you working on now?
Presently I am working on another new Fiction book and also a NonFiction book.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
My taste in promoting my books is not spending a lot of time on social media so that I can focus on my writing. So I have hired a book marketing specialist, Catherine of ‘Lyon Literary Services’ to handle my promotions and book marketing.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
If you enjoy the interest in writing, never give up on it. And go into it with the understanding that the miracle of the book “50 Shades of Grey” most likely will not happen.

So do it for the love of writing! And never-never compare your writing to anyone else and keep on writing.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Throughout my life, I have read a lot of fiction and nonfiction books both for fun and inspiration. Reading books from new writers is necessary but never copy their style.
Find your style of writing.

What are you reading now?
Books I’m reading now-hard to say since I read at least two a week!

What’s next for you as a writer?
I hope to continue the two book projects I am working on now. One fiction and new nonfiction, and try to stay in a publishing time frame of two new books per year. I hope.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
If stranded on an island, I would take books sharing hope and inspiration.

Lynn Rae

Interview With Author Lynn Rae

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Lynn Rae was diagnosed with depression at the age of thirty and bipolar disorder at thirty-five. She has been living with these illnesses since 1991 and has had numerous hospitalizations. Two psychiatrists told her at age thirty-nine that she would never work full time again. She has proven them wrong.
Lynn has written three books. The F Book: 7 F’s to Creating Your Fantastic Future teaches you how incorporating these seven F’s will lead to a happier, healthier, more joy-filled life. The other is called My Journey Back to Myself which depicts her struggles and recovery from bipolar disorder. Common Sense in an Uncommon World is a collection of quotations for the 21st Century.
As an Inspirational Speaker Lynn shares with others her coping strategies for living with bipolar disorder and how she learned to be a productive member of society again and thrive despite how she was labelled. Her talk, “7 F’s to Creating Your Fantastic Future” outlines seven words all starting with the letter F that led to her recovery. She has spoken at hospitals, conferences, Rotary Clubs, libraries, colleges and universities.
Lynn Rae makes her home in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. In the summer she loves taking care of her vegetable garden and eating fresh from it every day.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The F Book: 7 Fs to Creating Your Fantastic Future
This book was originally drafted over 10 years ago. I realized there were 7 words, all starting with the letter F, that led to my recovery from bipolar disorder. They are Family, Friends, Fun, Fitness, Fulfillment, Finances and Faith. I believe we all need these Fs in our lives.

“You can believe the diagnosis, not the prognosis” – Deepak Chopra
Twenty-five years ago my mother told me I was looking for inner peace and I knew she was right. I had to look within and make changes within myself in order to be happy.

Edmund Yeung

Interview With Author Edmund Yeung

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a #1 best seller on Amazon. Winning Your Biggest Paycheck is my first book. I have had a very successful career in high-tech sales and marketing.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Winning Your Biggest Paycheck

I really want to give back.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Yes, I used Microsoft To-do to store and organize my ideas. I did have “Writer’s Block.” When I was stuck writing a chapter, I simply referred to my notes using the To-do software. I then came back to where I was challenged previously.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I am still exploring. I think Amazon is a powerful engine. Ranking high on the site really helps.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Leverage “technology”. You may want to read my book; Chapter 8-Build an Arsenal of Productivity Tools. LOL

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Focus on the basics.

What’s next for you as a writer?
Perhaps a new book on “Strategy.”

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
