It is really important to have both writing goals and marketing goals. Many of our authors use us and a combination of other marketing methods.

One of the biggest complaints I hear is how much authors lose both time and money running ads on Facebook and Amazon. Most just run an ad and have no targeting set up or do not set up a proper audience to market to.
It does take time to target the right audience and find readers. One of the biggest mistakes I see is there is no targeting and they also let their ads run on instagram at the same time. Non targeted ads on instagram is the fastest way to spend money with basically no return.

If you are going to run ads on Facebook you should uncheck the box that says place ad on instagram also. Actually you should only have your ad go on Facebook if you want to target instagram you should have a separate ad for that so you can track it.
